This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and other tracking tools used on the website https://sulcisailcharter.com (the “Website”), operated by Peonia Tourist Service S.r.l. 1. What cookies and similar tools are
Cookies are small text files that the website you visit saves in the browser of your device and reads again on subsequent visits. Similar functions are performed by other technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, pixels and third-party scripts: in this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”. Cookies may be set by the Website (first-party cookies) or by services of other parties embedded in the pages (third-party cookies).
2. How we manage consent
On your first visit, a banner allows you to:
- “Accept all”: consent to all categories of cookies;
- “Decline”: refuse all cookies other than technical ones, as easily as you can accept them;
- “Settings”: make granular choices about individual categories and services.
Until you make a choice, the Website uses technical cookies only: third-party scripts and content that require consent remain blocked. Scrolling the page or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
Your choice is stored for 12 months; you can change or withdraw it at any time using the cookie settings icon always visible on the Website or the link at the top of this page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
The banner is managed through the CCM19 platform, installed on servers managed by our technical supplier Lo Spot Digitale. To document the choices made, a consent log is kept containing a random consent identifier, the date and time, the categories and services accepted or rejected, the button clicked, the page, the language and information on the browser and operating system; the log does not contain your IP address.
3. Cookies used on the Website
The categories correspond to those shown in the “Settings” panel of the banner. The durations indicated are those declared by the respective providers and may be changed by them.
3.1 Technically necessary (always active, no consent required)
These are needed for the Website to work securely and to provide the services you explicitly request. Legal basis: Art. 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code and the Controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), which, in the case of Google reCAPTCHA, consists in protecting the contact and booking forms against spam and automated submissions.

3.3 Advertisements (only with your consent)
These allow us to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show you relevant ads on Meta platforms. For the collection and transmission of data via the Pixel, the Controller and Meta are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR). Legal basis: consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3.6 External resources that do not set cookies
Some static files of the Website (WordPress style sheets and scripts) are delivered via the Jetpack CDN (c0.wp.com) and blog authors’ profile pictures are provided by Gravatar (secure.gravatar.com), both services of Automattic Inc. These requests involve the transmission to Automattic of the IP address and technical browser data needed to deliver the files, but they do not set cookies. Fonts are loaded from our own server. The buttons and links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and WhatsApp are simple links: no data is sent to these platforms until you click on them.
4. Transfers of data outside the EU
Some providers (Google, Meta, Automattic, Vimeo) may process data in the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for certified providers, and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

6. Managing cookies through your browser
In addition to using the banner, you can delete cookies already stored and block future ones from your browser settings (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking technical cookies may prevent some parts of the Website from working properly.
7. Your rights
You can exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15–22 GDPR and lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, as described in our Privacy Policy, by writing to info@sulcisailcharter.com.
8. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated following changes to the services used by the Website or to the law. If the cookies requiring consent change significantly, we will ask you to express your preferences again.
